Beyond Breaking Barriers LLC (BBB) is a culturally responsive, community-based organization founded in 2021 to address systemic disparities affecting individuals and families in North and South Minneapolis and Saint Paul. BBB specializes in providing comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and resource mapping that support families in navigating complex systems and accessing critical services.

Our mission is to empower families and youth by identifying their unique needs and strengths, connecting them to culturally appropriate resources, and promoting long-term well-being through equitable service delivery. BBB was founded and is led by Lawanna Pitts, a North Minneapolis native with over 15 years of experience in youth outreach and legal support services. Under her leadership, the organization has developed a strong reputation for community trust, cultural competence, and impactful collaboration.

BBB’s services include adult and youth assessments, personalized resource navigation, and referrals through a network of trusted community partners. With a dedicated, experienced team and deep community ties, BBB remains committed to fostering positive outcomes, reducing service gaps, and promoting equity across the community.
